Acc-U-Sound Barrel Shaped Diffusers

Barrel Shaped Diffusers are ideal for distributing sound evenly within a room. Diffusers combined
with absorption panels help to achieve sound clarity in any given space. These diffusers are
lightweight for easy installation. Acc-U-Sound diffusers have been tested according to ASTM-84
Tunnel Test and have a flame spread rating of less than 25 (class "A" or "1")

Construction
QTS Barrel Shaped Diffusers are constructed of 1/8” thick, rigid molded fiberglass shaped in a
barrel configuration for maximum sound efficiency and quality. Optional 2" thick internal fiberglass
available on backside of diffuser. The radius on the diffusers can be either on the short dimension
or long dimension.

Finishes
White gel-coat with lemon peel texture or wrapped with woven 100% polyester fabric.

Mounting
Barrel Diffusers for ceilings have edges that are flat to allow for lay-in installation at ceiling grid.
For wall mounting applications, slotted brackets are supplied for the top of the diffuser. Brackets
are slotted to receive wall mounted screws. An angle with velcro attached is supplied for the
bottom of the diffuser.
